And that's a wrap! After the rains forced a postponement of the Rec League finals, Red completed a comeback win over Gray in the championship game last week to seal long-time captain and Rec League co-coordinator Chris Robles's first ever WUDI Summer League title. Red had been taken down to the wire in a frenetic semi-final matchup against Orange, but closed things out and carried their momentum into the finals under the lights.

Over in Draft League, John and Diane Palmer's Black team continued their mastery of the competition with a resounding victory over Gray in the finals (tough week for that color), making them the first captains to three-peat Draft League since as far back as our digital records go -- which admittedly isn't very far, but it's impressive nonetheless. Black's title was never really in doubt throughout the night, as they handily defeated Red in the semis before rolling on through the finals to complete the Palmers' trifecta.
