To apply for the WUDI Board, please submit a candidate statement for the desired position to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. In it, you should explain why you want to serve in this position and what your qualifications are. This statement will be posted on the WUDI site when the election begins so that the voters can learn more about you.
Why would I want to take on the work of being on the WUDi Board, you ask?
Here are a few things to consider:
1. Be honest -- you've probably gotten a lot out of WUDI (and the Ultimate community) over the course of your life. WUDI has provided you with high-level leagues and the great social connections that go with playing in them. Remember, WUDI is entirely volunteer-driven, which means that we need dedicated people to take on the responsibility of helping to run the league. Isn't it time to give back to the organization with the gift of your time?
2. Have you ever felt like you had great ideas that would make WUDI even better? Being on the Board is a great way to get your opinions heard!
3. It really doesn't take up that much time! The Board only meets over Zoom for roughly an hour about once a month, and a large chunk of Board business is done via email/Slack.
Wondering what each position does? Take a look at the job descriptions below:
